Osho have emphasized so much on letting go and being a part of the cosmic river. Meditation should always be an essential part of every action otherwise it is very easy to get swayed by the mind. More over we need Right meditation which makes us detached from mind that is witnessing.

The real reason for this post is to say, “Gee, sorry to hear you were down but while you were down, God smiled upon me with introduction to your handiwork” in that I discovered your awesome FluidBlue WordPress theme and Quotes plugin … If only God could download my euphoric feelings and upload them to you :>0 … I’m sure He can but that would spoil things wouldn’t it ..??.. As fyi, you should know that while you were feeling like life was heavy and not posting, there are a couple communities of worship here in New England that are singing your WordPress praises … well not literally singing but silently appreciative of your blogging elegance and people like you who invest in open source … e.g., http://www.SaintPatrickBridgeport.com is a site that nows enjoys a modified version of your Fluid Blue theme plus your fabulous quotes plugin and your quotes (and yes, you should include all your quotes in that plugin as jump start) … Saint Joseph’s Brookfield site (which is under development) also enjoys said themes and quotes … THANK YOU :>) … Also because of your blogroll, I’m now a happy subscriber to ZenHabits but I’m digressing again …

With respect to blue moods and fussing, perhaps my favorite story is of a man circa late 1880s who was a failure in all things the worlds of men … he tried business, failed … he tried teaching, failed … he tried politics, failed … he tried everything and died thinking he was a failure … BUT there was one thing he did that changed the world unbeknownst to him … this man, James Lord Pierpont, penned a song for family relatives … didn’t think much of it at the time but was happy to have delighted his relatives with it … that one song goes something like, “Ba ba ba, ba ba ba, ba ba da da ba…” and thus anybody in the world when they hear those notes recognize the tune for “Jingle Bells” … now fast forward to the other dimension … one could almost hear the other conversation when this man met God …

God: “So, how did it go – your life that is? Did you have a good time, do anything I’m proud of? Did you move the ball for the highest good? Promote My Will?”

James: “Sorry God. I had an interesting life and thanks for the gig but I’m sorry to report nothing added up. I accomplished nada.”

To which God laughs and says, “Hmmm. That’s an interesting statement and reflection but one that is not quite accurate. Let Me show you My View and let’s look at earth 2009 and how many people sing OUR holiday celebratory tune you penned in 1857.”

One can only imagine Jame’s surprise and I doubt he is cruising around the heavens with any more heaviness ..??..

Accordingly, I think the fun things in life are those positive ripples that we create that we know not what shores they ripple upon.

This just happened to me recently when somebody threw a dog bone out of their car window at me and their “random act of kindness” became cemented in local lore when the newspaper picked up the story … I would love to be a fly on God’s wall when that man has his conversation but that is a private affair between them … In meantime, you can read my account here -> http://chuckingit.com/blog/flying-milk-bone/
